Our psychiatrists are Fellows of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), specialising in child and adolescent mental health. We use evidence-based assessment tools including ADOS-2 for autism spectrum disorder evaluations and Vanderbilt scales for ADHD assessments.
Each initial assessment includes a thorough clinical interview, standardised testing appropriate to the presenting concern, collateral information review, and school consultation when indicated. Your referring practice receives a detailed clinical report within 5 business days, including DSM-5-TR diagnosis, clinical formulation, and evidence-based treatment recommendations.
All fees are discussed transparently during the intake process. An upfront deposit is required to secure appointment bookings. Detailed fee information and payment options are provided before any appointments are scheduled.
All consultations are eligible for Medicare specialist psychiatry rebates. Telehealth consultations attract the same Medicare rebates as face-to-face appointments. Medicare item numbers and rebate amounts are provided to families during the appointment process.

Following intake, initial psychiatric appointments are typically scheduled within 3-6 weeks depending on clinician availability. We aim to contact all referred families within 2 business days of receiving the referral to begin the intake process.
Absolutely. We send a comprehensive written report within 5 business days of the initial assessment, including diagnostic formulation, treatment recommendations, and medication plans. We provide regular progress updates and are available for phone discussions about complex cases. You remain central to the patient's care team.
We are not an emergency or acute psychiatric service. We provide outpatient assessment and treatment for stable mental health presentations. We do not see patients with acute suicidality, active self-harm, psychosis, acute eating disorders, or conduct disorders requiring crisis intervention. For psychiatric emergencies, please direct patients to their local emergency department or acute mental health crisis team.
We provide specialist psychiatric care for children and adolescents aged 5-18 years. We also support transition planning for young people moving to adult mental health services.
Yes, all consultations are conducted via secure telehealth platform. This enables us to provide specialist care across all Australian states and territories, reduces travel burden for families, and maintains Medicare rebate eligibility. We use a HIPAA-compliant platform suitable for children and adolescents.
We view ourselves as an extension of your practice. You receive detailed assessment reports, regular treatment updates, medication management plans, and are copied on all correspondence with families and schools. We're available via email or phone for clinical discussions and work within a shared-care model.
Following assessment, we provide a detailed report with diagnosis and treatment plan. Depending on clinical needs, we may offer ongoing psychiatric review, medication management, brief therapy interventions, or discharge back to your care with recommendations.
