20-question PTSD screening tool based on DSM-5 criteria
The PTSD Checklist for DSM-5 (PCL-5) is a validated screening tool for post-traumatic stress disorder in adults. It assesses the 20 DSM-5 symptoms of PTSD across 4 symptom clusters: intrusion, avoidance, negative alterations in cognition/mood, and alterations in arousal/reactivity.
This is not a diagnosis. It is a screening tool to help identify symptoms. Only a qualified healthcare provider can make a clinical diagnosis, so please discuss your results with your GP.
Questions ask about the past 2 weeks, and you can retake this assessment every 30 days to track changes over time.
